Andrew Cameron didn’t just join the family business—he grew up in it.
As Vice President of Cameron Group, a fourth-generation family-owned company with over a century of expertise, Andrew combines deep-rooted tradition with a forward-thinking mindset. A graduate of Roanoke College with a degree in Business Administration, Andrew cut his teeth in residential retrofit sales back when fiberglass was king. Today, he leads the company’s custom home division, helping builders navigate complex insulation challenges, evolving codes, and the shift toward net-zero energy homes.
Working alongside his mother, Ginny (CEO), and brother, Scott (President), Andrew carries forward the family legacy with a hands-on, forward-thinking approach. He’s particularly passionate about educating builders on energy efficiency, air barriers, and how to ace blower door tests. “My mom always taught me, ‘sometimes you make the most money on the jobs that you don’t take.’” Andrew says—a bit of wisdom that still guides his decisions today.
When he’s not on-site or working with builders, you’ll likely find Andrew spending time with his kids, boating, or jet skiing. His leadership style is grounded, practical, and honest—much like the company he helps lead. At Cameron Group, legacy isn’t just a story, it’s still being built, one house at a time.
