Leadership
Ginny Cameron

CEO
What doesn’t Ginny do? As the CEO of Cameron Group, Ginny’s role is simple: keeping the ship afloat (trust us, you don’t want the details). She’s been guiding the company with her strategic planning, policy implementation and operational oversight—making sure everything runs smoothly for both clients and the team.
Ginny’s journey in the insulation business began with her father, Walter Shipe, who joined the family business in 1949. Growing up, she wasn’t just her father’s daughter; she was his fishing, baseball, and landscaping buddy, doing all the things a son might do. Her father instilled in her the belief that women could do anything, and she’s lived by that ever since. After working two years in advertising post-college, she returned to the family business in 1977 and hasn’t looked back.
Ginny made her mark in the industry, becoming the first female president of ICAA in 2001, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for both ICAA and Insulate America.
Beyond her professional achievements, Ginny’s greatest reward is working alongside her sons, Scott and Andrew and the incredible team she considers her second family. Even though she’s a seasoned leader, Ginny remains a tomboy at heart, still passionate about the outdoors, sports and gardening.
xScott Cameron

President
Scott Cameron has been a driving force behind Cameron Group since he started at just 14 years old. From humble beginnings in the warehouse to mastering sales and management, Scott has grown with the company every step of the way. Now, as President, he leads with a hands-on approach, overseeing the company’s operations, performance, and strategy.
His deep expertise in building science and construction detailing ensures Cameron Group consistently delivers top-quality results, while his leadership continues to shape the future of the business.
xAndrew Cameron

Vice President
Andrew Cameron didn’t just join the family business—he grew up in it. As Vice President of Cameron Group, a fourth-generation family-owned company with over a century of expertise, Andrew combines deep-rooted tradition with a forward-thinking mindset. A graduate of Roanoke College with a degree in Business Administration, Andrew cut his teeth in residential retrofit sales back when fiberglass was king. Today, he leads the company’s custom home division, helping builders navigate complex insulation challenges, evolving codes, and the shift toward net-zero energy homes. Working alongside his mother, Ginny (CEO), and brother, Scott (President), Andrew carries forward the family legacy with a hands-on, forward-thinking approach. He’s particularly passionate about educating builders on energy efficiency, air barriers, and how to ace blower door tests. “My mom always taught me, ‘sometimes you make the most money on the jobs that you don’t take.’” Andrew says—a bit of wisdom that still guides his decisions today. When he’s not on-site or working with builders, you’ll likely find Andrew spending time with his kids, boating, or jet skiing. His leadership style is grounded, practical, and honest—much like the company he helps lead. At Cameron Group, legacy isn’t just a story, it’s still being built, one house at a time. x
